More than 20 local residents and several dogs walked from Hospital Lane to Ridgeway Farm on 13th April 2025.
Many residents were shocked to see the industrial scale of the proposed development, even more so when they realised that the land they were walking through comprised less than half of the area that will be covered in solar panels.
Extensive views towards the Malvern Hills from undulating countryside will be lost from these footpaths once 2.8m solar panels have been erected either side. The ploughed field in which the walkers are standing, which has a footpath running through the middle, is just one example.
