Thanks to Severn Trent Water for reminding local residents and other travellers of what 7+ months of Roadworks on the A449 between Worcester and Malvern might be like. Although the above image was taken from January’s episode, the google maps image below comes from today, 6th May 2025.
So as you can see, stretching back from Newland all the way back to Hospital Lane. Good luck to any emergency services vehicles fighting their way through that.
We all understand that occasionally, roadworks are required for good reason. But every day for 7+ months? Any why? The folly of the net zero agenda is increasingly being exposed such as with events at the end of April.
